So, until they show in the Font Book, Sib may not recognize them. They say there are 5 fonts but it looks to me like there are 6 fonts. The installation instructions are as attached below in the 'Installation Instructions' screenshot. After you do this, it should appear in all your programs, not just 'Word'. Or you can double click each font file's icon (I prefer this way) to preview it and it gives you the option to 'Install Font'. I'd like to use these fonts as 'lyrics', to go in as a line of text above the textual lyrics, so that each syllable of text (in English), with its neume, aligns vertically with a particular note. A complete Byzantine music score can (and perhaps only can) be created in a word processor. I don't think these are music fonts, since they are designed to be created as a single line in parallel above a line of text. In the Sib Music Fonts dialog I also just tried typing in the name of one of them - EZ Psaltica.ttf - and then setting substitutions using the same name in 'common symbols', but the font still does not appear in Sib's main fonts dropdown, and it disappeared from 'common symbols' when I reopened the dialog. Nor do they appear in my Mac's Font Book, which is strange, since they function in MS Word. There are 5 fonts in the set - I've attached one of them as a sample. I have a pretty rudimentary understanding of fonts, so any advice, no matter how basic or obvious, will be welcome. Just for the heck of it I tried cutting and pasting the neume text into the lyrics in Sib, but it showed up as ' >Sylab|Done< '. I have a font set for the neumes which works in MS Word (appears in the font list and types correctly), but in Sib it does not even appear in the font list (even after restart of computer).
